Kanye Wests wife, Bianca Censori, is once again in the spotlight for her unusual public behavior. The latest incident at the Grammy Awards is part of the pattern of behavior her friends previously staged an intervention over.

Bianca Censori, an Australian architect who married Kanye “Ye” West on January 13, 2023, recently raised concerns due to her behavior at Sundays 67th Annual Grammy Awards. However, this isnt the first time worry over her well-being has been expressed since she began dating the rapper.

Censoris past Concerning Behavior

In December 2022, when West released a song titled “Censori Overload,” it marked the first indication that he and Censori were dating. On January 9, 2023, they fueled rumors further when they were spotted wearing gold rings during lunch in Beverly Hills.

News of their marriage began circulating, but one publication claimed the pair werent officially married because they never obtained a marriage certificate. Observers also noted that Censori resembled her husbands ex, Kim Kardashian, from her facial features to her body shape.

After she “married” West, Censori cut her long brown hair and dyed it blonde. Her outfits gradually became more revealing, culminating in an outrageous nude catsuit and strange behavior in Italy.

In 2023, her friends expressed concern over her unusual behavior, insisting it was out of character and suspecting Wests influence. The then-28-year-olds friends feared that the rapper, who was 46 at the time, was manipulating her.

They worried he had transformed her into a “radicalized” version of his ex-wife. The couple caused a scandal during their September 2023 trip to Italy when they were caught engaging in a risqué act during a boat taxi ride in Venice.

At the time, West allegedly exposed his bare backside in public, angering Italian locals. A police investigation was launched into their lewd conduct. Italian authorities identified the boats driver and planned to question him about the incident.

Witnesses and photographers were also asked to surrender any images that had gone viral. A Venice police source stated, “There are standards of public decorum that have to be followed by tourists and locals alike and any breaches are severely punished.”

The insider added, “The images of West with his trousers down while in a taxi as he and his partner crossed the lagoon were seen all over the globe.” According to one of Censoris close friends, “Bianca is stuck and her friends are trying to save her, but no one can because of the blockades Kanye has put up [around her].”

The source continued, “Everyone is extremely concerned. This isnt who she is. She is an incredibly outspoken and lively person who is never one to keep her mouth shut. But she has no one right now, and it is scary.”

Censori initially worked as a full-time architect student at DP Toscano Architects from July 2017 to June 2020. Since November 2020, she has served as Head of Architecture at her husbands company, YEEZY.

Netizens who read about the incident shared their opinions, with one person stating, “If I was her friend I [sic] too would be concerned. This does not look like a healthy relationship,” while another noted, “This poor girl is in serious trouble.”

Someone else remarked, “She looks totally uncomfortable full stop she needs to get away [sic].” A fourth person , “She needs to be rescued.”

Censori was first linked to West—a rapper, actor, businessman, and composer—in January 2023, months after his divorce from Kardashian was finalized. While married to the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star, West referred to her as his “muse” and influenced her fashion choices.

Censoris friends worry hes doing the same to her, turning her into “almost like Kim 2.0.” A source, however, compared the two relationships, saying, “The difference is that when Kim was with Kanye he was respected in the fashion world. He has since lost this respect.”

In October 2022, Wests fall from grace began when he wore a White Lives Matter T-shirt at his YZY SZN 9 Paris fashion show. The following month, he made a series of antisemitic remarks on X, formerly known as Twitter.

These comments led to his billion-dollar partnerships with Gap and Adidas being terminated. A friend of Censoris claimed she entered the relationship fully aware of Wests controversies. “Bianca knew what she was getting into when she started dating Kanye. But she found him charming,” the friend said.

During their Italian trip, the architect—who collaborated with West on 2023s “This Is Ye” and appeared on “Dish Nation” for five episodes from 2023 to 2024—appeared somber, often keeping her head down. Strange behavior between Censori and her husband has since continued.

Wests Alleged Controlling Behavior

Censoris friends fear Wests manipulation has persisted, with his actions in January 2024 further highlighting his alleged “controlling” behavior. Her loved ones attempted an intervention regarding the rappers “controlling ways” but failed to reach her.

After allegedly marrying West, the architect disappeared from social media. The only trace is an unconfirmed Facebook account with a single profile picture uploaded on October 26, 2021, with no activity since.

It appears the rapper has influenced his wifes stance on social media. An insider explained, “Bianca has always had social media and she was active on it – until she married Kanye.”

The source added, “He doesnt want her to have it because he thinks it will hurt her if she reads the nasty things that people say.” The person continued, “He convinced her that, since she is a star now, she has to remain a mystery and it is creepy to those who know her as it feels like another form of control.”

Censoris friends also disapproved of him posting racy images of his wife on Instagram, despite his alleged claims that she needs protection. The insider said the rapper was showcasing his wifes nakedness while controlling her narrative.

“It is disturbing, and by shutting her off from the world he is causing her to become more and more isolated,” the source said. Her friends are shocked that the assertive architect is complying with her husbands demands.

Censoris friends believed her strong personality would have resisted Wests alleged control, but it seems to have faded. The insider claimed, “She is wearing what he wants, going where he wants and doing what he wants because she really has no other choice.”

The source added, “She went from being his designer to his wife, which is unfortunately, not a paid position. Shes trapped.” In October 2023, it was alleged that the rapper instructed Censori to “never speak.”

He has reportedly imposed strict rules on her, including specific foods she can eat, what to wear, and exercising regularly—even though he doesnt follow the same regimen. Nicola Hickling, founder and lead analyst at LipReader, revealed that West told his wife to take off her coat and reveal all. Hickling said that at one point, the rapper appeared to tell Censori, “Youre making a scene now,” prompting her to nod. The lip reader noted West then said, “Make a scene, Ill say itll make so much sense.”

His wife nodded again before he instructed, “Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you.” Hickling believes Censori responded, “Alright, lets go.” At one point, West whispered something to her, which the lip reader translated as, “I’ll tell em youre on fire tonight, babe.”

The architects outfit provided minimal coverage as she posed for photographers beside her fully-dressed husband, who wore all black. Sources revealed that someone approached the 47-year-old rapper and the 30-year-old architect shortly after she dropped her black fur coat.

Insiders revealed the person who attended to the couple worried that CBS, the network airing the awards ceremony, could face fines from advertisers due to Censoris outfit. A source described the scene, “Everyone looked at them like they were crazy and the word is that he tried to create a major publicity stunt because he is worried he isnt the center of attention anymore.”

After seeing a clip of the incident, one Facebook user declared, “He humiliates her,” while another added, “Omg he has degraded her so much.” An upset commenter asked, “Why the hell doesnt someone stop him from doing this to her??? Someone else complained, “Shes like a robot under his controlling command!” Kanye West reportedly felt “upset” that he didnt get to cause more disruption inside the venue after being asked to leave. He and his wife exited quickly after the incident, although another source claimed the couple left of their own accord.
